Hi ladies, I know a few of us will be attending RWA’s conference this year. There is an issue this year that I feel should be addressed. A friend of mine, a GH finalist, has had stalker issues in the past. This is not a randomly harassing kind of scenario but a full-blown, out-of-control, fear-for-your-life stalker. This GH finalist contacted RWA and asked that her image and name not be used on the website to protect her anonymity and WAS DENIED! I can’t believe that. Isn’t her safety more important than advertising the GH? She thinks so and she is the one who most benefits from the publicity. RWA is there to support romance authors, not endanger them.
