Work progresses at a frantic pace here. I’m clicking save every five seconds so I don’t lose anything when the power goes out!! LOL :laugh:

I updated the excerpt of Sapphire’s Worth. Both my cp’s are raving over it so I thought I’d give you a better glimpse of the story than what the previous excerpt showed.

Hello. I’m blogging early today, because I gotta get a ton of stuff done before I take off on Thursday for a long holiday weekend on the Delta and the power company stuck a note on my door yesterday saying that we’re not going to have any power tomorrow from 8am to 4 pm. Yikes! :crazy: And it’s HOT out here!

I started a new thread today on the message board about favorite romance titles and how big a part titles play in selling books. Weigh in and tell me your faves. It should be fun. :hehe:

My web designer, the fabulous Genevieve, told me that updates to the site would be done this evening. Look for a new FAQ’s page (a work in progress, bear with me! )and new links in the menu.

I have no idea what’s up, but I’m getting a ton of Russian spam! I can only assume that someone read my Bio and thought I’d be interested.

While I appreciate the opportunity to catch up on my Russian, I can honestly say that my teaching in the military was along the lines of words like “to annihilate”, not “Viagra”.

I finally finished the “Bane of My Existence”–Chapter Sixteen. I’ve been stuck on these 17 pages for a week! I was about to pull out my hair and scream. Thanks go out to Sasha for mid-completion critiquing and brainstorming, and to Larissa for her very helpful throat-slitting how-to guide!

Good grief, I’m so relieved to be done with this chapter I can’t even tell you! :satisfied:

Tonight, while I was in the shower, I was thinking about my earlier post and trying to discern why I was in such a good mood. I started thinking about all the things that happened today and I remembered that a friend of mine, recently in a writing hiatus, started writing again today. And that made me happy. I need to tell her that of course, but I was so happy for her to have gotten over something that distressed her.

Then I started thinking about everyone I’ve met over the last couple of months and how much their careers have changed. Contracts have been signed. Agents acquired. I don’t know Ellen Fisher, she’s never posted on my blog or I on hers, but I’ve seen her posts around and so in that way I feel I know her. I was so freakin’ thrilled when I found out she was a Brava finalist! I was thrilled when Cece signed with agent. I was thrilled when Alison got such good news from her publishers. There’s tons more stuff you all have gone through that was wonderful, I can’t list it all, but everyone of you had something happen in your lives that made me happy for you. Knowing all of you and watching you all succeed is so awesome!

Today, it put me in a good mood. :hehe: :laugh:
