Okay, I’m working late on my revision of my ms, taking a look at one of my cp’s crits. Something she points out takes me by surprise. She writes:
“Man! I’d think that she would be angry at him for doing that to her!!“
I pause. :plain:
Think about it. :confused:
She’s absolutely right! :O That got me thinking and writing. Adding a bit here and there to flesh out the scene and make it cohesive with what the reader has learned about the heroine so far.
While I’m doing this, I type a bit of dialogue and some internal conflict and I get this momentary sensation of déjà vu.
I stop.
Re-read.
Think, “Did I write something similiar in one of my other mss?”
Answer, “No.”
Hmmm… It just fits.
I have no idea what happened. Maybe I’m going mad. :crazy: Perhaps exhaustion is setting in. :doze: Don’t know. Don’t care.
All I know is, after two and a half days of endless of procrastination and deep thought, I am back on track and writing again. :hehe:
(Man, I hope you guys are still friends with me after this nutty post. :blush: )
