Slowing Down

I’ve been deliberately slowing down my writing related activites this weekend. It’s a good time for me to do it, everything is out and the edits I’m working on aren’t due anywhere for a while yet. It’s been nice. The next week or two will be emotionally hectic with all the contests wrapping up, so a bit of relaxation is a gift.

In a week, I’ll be working on the informal message board challenge. I really think being accountable to the other writers participating will keep me in line. (And I think it will be fun too!!) I’ve also got my writer’s retreat coming up, so the two short stories that I have conceived in my head and need to write, will for sure get started and most likely finished.

I intended to blog more, but Sasha had trouble with her e-mail and we worked on it until the wee hours of the morning. All worth it, since now it works! Gotta have e-mail!! I’ll try to get more blogging done tomorrow!!

Oh… and I watched The Day After Tomorrow. What a riot!

I’m in for the November challenge! – I just posted on the message board. Only six more days left to procrastinate…

  2. Sasha says:

Sorry I kpt you up late!

But THANK YOU sooo much for your help!

The writers retreat….I think I’ll be working on a *gasp* NOVEL!!!

 . Oh I am so up for this  ! I got an e-mail abotu a regional challenge for Ohio authors so you know I’m gonna do that too! They are having a meet & greet at local library to kick the whole thing off but unfourtunately, I’ll probably be working *sigh*, can’t wait to give up the pat-time job and dedicate all my spare time to writing.

Heard that The Day After Tomorrow was rather impossible so I’m keeping away from it  . But it does look like there’s a ton of good movies coming soon at the theater (including The Incredibles, we’re taking PJ. Haven’t seen a Pixar movie yet that I haven’t loved!)and it helps that my brother is an assintant manager at a local theater and can hook us up for free when he’s working. Anyway, take care Slyvia and I’m looking forward to doing the challenge with you
