If the MS that's being revised isn't needed to be sent out to an agent or editor within the next few months, take your time with it. Take your time to coax each word into the masterpiece you envisioned when you first sat down to write it. What stands between a good book and an unforgettable book is revision--and more than once or twice, to boot. :wink: One day at a time.
