Hey!! I have a question. I’ve got my life’s blood on this jumpdrive, but its compact size and portability create other concerns.
Do any of you upload your mss to your server for safekeeping?

I won’t even pretend to understand what that means - LOL
But I do email myself my mss. I also have two separate computers so I use my laptop as the backup for all my documents, since we’re wireless here and I can access my main computer from my laptop. And I do a back-up cd every once in a while, but the 2 computer thing has really spoiled me…
by Steph T. November 24th, 2004 at 10:45 amI email myself too. ANd I burn a new cd every now and then with the new stories on it.
by Sasha November 24th, 2004 at 11:37 amI back up my files in so many different ways — email, FTP, work and laptop computers, not to mention the always present USB flash drive I carry around in my pocket. Every few months, I’ll back-up files on CD, too, though those tend to be a batch back-up of lots of documents, not just whatever work(s) in progress I’ve got.
My email is held on the server, too, so even if I download it to my laptop, I’ve still got copies in the in-box and sent folder… just in case!
by Mariann November 25th, 2004 at 5:09 amI save it on my harddrive. On a disk. In my crit groups Yahoo files section. And on briefcase. And I think my crit partners save it as well.
