I’m wishing everyone a safe, relaxing Christmas Eve!! 
I’m still finishing up the edits to story #2. I’m in the last ten pages, but I’ll have to rewrite a lot of it. I hope to get that done today. We’ll see. I still need stocking stuffers for Hubby and then there’s Christmas dinner at my SIL’s house. But I’m going to try.
I recently enjoyed a great article in the December RWR. It’s titled “I’m Doomed.”: Confessions of the (Choke) Writing Process.
On another note, I received a request for a full last night in the mail from a print publisher. Problem is, I’ve already submitted the full to Ellora’s Cave. EC has had the ms for a couple of months now and the print publisher will take months to get back to me. So now I don’t know what to do. I’m thinking I could mail out the full to the print publisher with a cover page explaining the situation. The print publisher has a strict “no simultaneous submissions” policy so it may be pointless and if EC gets back to me before I hear back from the print publisher what do I say? I don’t want to turn down a sale for a maybe. Then there’s Brava. While this story is a futuristic paranormal, I believe I still have to run it by Kate first and let her either bid or pass. *sigh* I need an agent.
Also the partial that got the request for a full was sent with another requested full. (I always do this. I always send in a partial with a requested full.) But the request said nothing about the full I sent. I don’t know what’s up with that. Is it under consideration? Did it go up the chain? Is it still waiting to be read? Huh? Huh?
I’m working on streamlining my site. If you wouldn’t mind, could you share the things about my site that drive you crazy? Is there someplace that’s too “busy”? Is it hard to navigate? And let me know what you do like, so I don’t change it. Considering it’s right before Christmas I probably won’t get too much response to this, but I thought I’d throw it out there anyway. And I added a new poll to the sidebar.
And on a side note, if you say something not nice about one of my friends, I will get mad.
