I wrote a long post about my new Kensington bookclub shipment and then I lost it. I’m so
about that!
I got some great books in this shipment, one is an anthology titled How to Marry a Duke. I’ve been on a self-imposed reading ban because I have so much work to do, but hey! I should be able to squeeze in a novella, right?
Also inside was Hidden Fires by Betina Krahn (whom I’ve loved since I read The Last Bachelor), To Tempt a Texan, and The Wedding Runaway.
Betina’s Hidden Fires is in its third release and was originally printed in 1987, so I’m interested to see how it reads.
If you haven’t read Mrs. Giggles’ latest soapbox, you should. LOL My favorite:
“Too much sex or bad language doesn’t bother me. Unless they get in the way of plot, of course, but even so, if the sex scenes are well-written and erotic, chances are I’d be having a good time.”
A reader after my own heart. ![]()
