I really have to get "Farthest Space" written, but with the baby coming, I ain't making any commitments this month:-). Maybe in March! I know what you mean about being "historicalled out"-- if I don't switch genres every so often, I get really bored with writing. I don't know how people can stand limiting themselves to one genre, but I guess it depends on the writer. I'll go to Nationals next year too, as I look forward to participating in the Literacy Book Signing. After I finish going through the changes I'm making to my two paranormal manuscripts I am going to work on something contemporary. Good luck with the laptop switch. My dh just received a new laptop from Dell also. This thing has all the bells and whistles and cost more than our two home computers combined.:shock: It's a good thing his company paid for it. :-P You're going to enjoy RWA National. It has to be better than last year. I still don't know if I'm going to make it to that one. January was a hell of a month and I'm just crossing my fingers that February will be better! I just bought a new laptop and I am so in love with it. It's a Dell Inspiron 700M and only weighs 4 pounds and is just so dang fast. I upgraded it when I bought it, to make sure I had a powerful machine! It was pretty reasonable, I thought.
