. . . you shush you’re children, telling them Mommy will get them a drink after she finishes the conversation with the characters in her head.
. . . you eavesdrop on other people’s conversations, not for gossip, but in the hopes of some great dialogue or a story idea.
I do both, and I’m not even a full-time writer.
