“I love you.” sometimes isn’t enough. So when my daughter wants to get the depth of her affection across she says, “Mama, you’re my special Christmas movie.”
I know just what she means.

And when I was four we drove to Texas (from Mass) and it was the biggest thing I’d ever experienced. So to this day, I can still make my mother teary-eyed if I tell her “I love you more than a 3-day drive.”
