“I love you.” sometimes isn’t enough. So when my daughter wants to get the depth of her affection across she says, “Mama, you’re my special Christmas movie.”

My brother always had cherry pie for his birthday. He told my mother that he loved cherry pie as much as God loved Abraham.

I remember writing that you’re a lucky mom!
And when I was four we drove to Texas (from Mass) and it was the biggest thing I’d ever experienced. So to this day, I can still make my mother teary-eyed if I tell her “I love you more than a 3-day drive.”
