I haven’t really had the time to read in a long while. I think tomorrow the kids and I will load up and head to Barnes & Noble. I’ve got a few Brava books on my TBR list (jees, am I lucky to be in these ladies’ company or what?
).
I plan to pick up:

I’ve read two stories by Erin–Houston We Have a Problem and Fuzzy Logic in Bad Boys Over Easy and I enjoyed both immensely. I highly recommend Houston.
The Real Deal will be my first by Lucy Monroe and I’m looking forward to reading Jordan’s Private Investigations.
With any luck my new MS Word won’t arrive until Monday and I can just laze around and read with no guilt whatsoever.
Hubby bought me Russell Stover No Sugar Added Mint Patties and they are yum.
Bravas and chocolate. Can life get any better? In fact, I think I’ll put together a basket of chocolate and Bad Boys Ahoy! when the time comes. Would you like to win something like that?
What are you reading now? Anything good?

I love Erin McCarthy! I just finished MOUTH TO MOUTH, and it was every bit as good as HOUSTON. I’m in the middle of THE REAL DEAL– very good so far.
I just got Pamela Clare’s RIDE THE FIRE at Barnes and Noble. She’s a terrific historical author, and I can’t wait to read this one– I loved her two earlier books!
by Ellen Fisher February 26th, 2005 at 4:27 amI love Erin McCarthy. It’s not on your list but SMART MOUTH is great too. In fact, I haven’t read anything but incredible stuff by her. My next two on the TBR pile are: WICKED WOMEN WHODUNIT (been looking forward to reading Amy Garvey’s story and seeing what the Brava mysteries are all about - so I can continue to inundate Kate Duffy with manuscripts ) and WICKED WOMEN ON TOP (been waiting for Jordan’s book since she won Lori Foster’s contest). Have fun at the bokstore!
by HelenKay February 26th, 2005 at 7:29 amI’ve read WICKED WOMEN ON TOP and BAD BOYS OVER EASY, both of Jordan’s stories are fun reads. Fuzzy Logic was Erin at her best: light, fun, with the ability to make an often read construct seem brand new.
Last night I got Emma Holly’s STRANGE ATTRACTIONS. Oh. My. God. I’m only twenty pages in, but I’m ready to follow Emma to the ends of the earth.
by Wendy February 26th, 2005 at 8:11 amSigh, I want some new books! But I think I need to finish a few of the thousands still in my TBR mountain first.
by Sheri February 26th, 2005 at 8:51 amThanks ladies! I’m glad you are enjoying the book. Sheri, I hear you on the mountainous TBR pile. I’m currently reading Susan Sizemore’s ‘I Thirst For You’ and Susan Andersen’s ‘Head Over Heels’. Both are good so far.
by Jordan February 26th, 2005 at 1:20 pmI love Emma Holly. Her writing and ability to draw sexual situations is stunning. She makes it look effortless, the true sign of a master.
LOL, HelenKay. I keep hearing how long the Brava wait is. It’s worth it though and you’ll succeed, I have no doubt.
