Sorry, too lazy to post. I know. *sigh* But take pity on me.

I did get some editing done today and I contemplated the half finished next installment of my vamp series, even though I’m under deadline. (Yes, I am a glutton. *g*) There’s just so much I want to write, so many books I want to share, so many stories to tell. And damn it! I don’t have enough fingers to type with or enough hours in the day.

Man, oh man. I am beat. I haven’t done one bit of editing or writing in days. Tomorrow it’s pedal to the metal. I’ve got to catch up. However, I have to say that the fledgeling erotic romance chapter is well worth it. Already we’ve got a fabulous group of extremely talented authors and I’m very proud to be working with them to make our chapter the best! :dance:

I did manage to get out of the house today and go to a friend’s for a bbq. That was nice. :beer: And I’m glad hubby will be home the next couple of days. Our anniversary was Thurs. and we still haven’t done anything. I forgot it. The last two years we’ve both forgot it. Hubby was very proud that he remembered this year. Yes, we’re different. *g* But as he says, we’re together forever. Like luggage.

On a side note, I really like my new blog skin. :kiss:

I just received a check from Arabella for my subscription of which I never received even one issue. I paid $17 and they sent me $10.

I feel guilty for getting the $10. You know why? The envelope was obviously addressed by a child. *gulp* I immediately picture a destitute family gathered around the dining table signing away their last dollars so they don’t get sued. Yikes.

In other news, (what did I tell you?) WP has a security update. It’s only four files, so don’t hesitate to do it. :whip: (just kidding *g*)

Okay, did anyone else watch the season finale of Alias? The last 5 seconds scared the crap out of me! I swear, I jumped out of my skin! Yikes!

Talked to my fabulous editor at Kensington today (I have to clarify since I have a couple fabulous editors *g*) and I asked for a little crumb of information about my cover, because I’m dying. Dying to see it. She responded in quick order with the surprising response that there had been a few cover mockups already that she didn’t like and so she keeps sending them back to the drawing board. So I thanked her profusely for putting such effort into it. Not that she’s doing it for me, I know she’s doing it for Brava, but still. Wow. If I can’t have my cover, that’s the best reason why.

I also asked her when BAD BOYS AHOY! would be available for pre-order. She said that’s up to Amazon. I asked Amazon and they said it’s up to Kensington. *sigh* However, they have this cool thing where you can set up an alert and it will tell you when a book or author is on the website. In other news, (don’t I usually have other news? :scratch: ) The RWA will be conducting a survey to determine which of two definitions best defines RWA and its mission. Two.

Response from members wishing to join an Erotic Romance Chapter of the RWA has been encouraging. The liaison said it’s impressive how many people have already gotten involved in the idea. However, she will not be forwarding us any information on how to set up the chapter until she hears word from the PTB that it’s okay. *sigh* I’ll keep you posted.

In the meantime, the group that has formed is fabulous! :clap:
