Crazed book lover that I am I continue to add to my TBR pile even though I never get the chance to read anymore. *sigh* Here’s what’s heading my way from BN this time:
These two were recommended by the members of my chat loop when I asked for funny romances.

I hadn’t yet read an Emma Holly historical and I’ve been dying to. I love Emma and I love historicals, so… come on!

And this… Yum

I hope I get a chance to read them. Don’t know if that will be possible with my deadline and the 700 freakin’ emails that bounced around the wanna be erotic romance chapter loop today.
There is no collapsing smiley, so this  will suffice. *g*
In other news, (don’t I usually have other news? ) The RWA will be conducting a survey to determine which of two definitions best defines RWA and its mission. Two.

I’ve only read KatieMac’s paranormals. I loved the prequel to the EmmaH, and I’ve heard mixed reviews about the Tie Me anthology. Silly me, I was hoping for some bondage, considering the title!!
BTW, what IS their mission anyways? I had the privledge of speaking with an original member and she said that the original members were naive in how they began the organization because everyone was either published, or a call away from becoming published–she was basically stating that the RWA was originally geared towards authors who were near to becoming published. :brow:

by Teresa May 25th, 2005 at 4:33 amOh, I love TAKE A CHANCE ON ME! One of my faves. And my recommendation on TIE ME UP, TIE ME DOWN is to skip the first novellas and go straight to the Jaid Black story– it’s really the only “erotic romance” in there, regardless of what the cover says.
by Ellen Fisher May 25th, 2005 at 4:59 amSherrilyn’s novella was fun, even though I wouldn’t call it erotic. I liked Jaid’s novella because I’d read a story associated to this world. I haven’t read Melanie’s story yet. I need to do that. I also have Emma’s in my TBR pile. Actually I have both of her historicals and her vamps. I like to save books by Emma, Angela Knight, Stephanie Laurens, and Christine Feehan for when I’m disappointed in other books. LOL!
