I’m down to the last 70 pages of edits and what do I do? I decide to rewrite the ending.
Yep, I’m nuts. I freely admit it. But I think it needs to be rewritten. I think it can be tighter, faster paced, a bit more exciting, and a better piece of work all around. I’ve got it all planned out. Now I just need to get it done. I’m running out of time…
You know, sometimes when I sit here, I pause a moment and think of how much I love what I do. I absolutely adore being a writer. I’m awed everyday that I get paid to do it. It’s never a chore, though I do bemoan when I can’t seem to get it in gear. It’s truly my passion. It’s hard to explain, but everything in my life requires something from me. Writing gives it back. There’s nothing in the world like finishing a story. And right now, as I’m charging full bore into my deadline, I’m excited. In just a few days it’ll be done and I’ll experience a high like no other. I’m really looking forward to it.

You can do it. :yay:

Good luck.
