First of all, Jodi, if you e-mail me your mailing address, I’ll send you a tote bag.
In other news (my good news I teased you about! *g*), I’ve changed literary agents. I had a wonderful rapport with my previous agent, so the switch was hard, but we remain friends and I’m grateful for that.
I’m now represented by The Knight Agency. I’m very excited :yay: , and look forward to the possibilities this change presents.
Now back to work for me… :cafe:

Congratulations!:bounce:
Way to go, Sylvia! TKA has made some very big sales this summer!!
Yay! Congrats!!
Congrats on your new agent, Sylvia!
but how does one decide whether one wants to find a new agent?
I think it’s based upon an author’s career plan. I know during a discussion with one NY Times bestselling author, she said she’s changed agents everytime she’s changed sub-genres, because different agents are better at selling different things. If an author knows where they want to end up, or at least the direction they’re heading for the time being, then they should also know who has the best chance of getting them there.
I’ve heard good things about The Knight Agency. Sounds like it was a good move.
Here’s a stupid question (and one you might not feel comfortable answering), but how does one decide whether one wants to find a new agent?
Congrats!!
Congrats, my friend. Much success!
Thanks, Diana! I’m :cheer: LOL I have Deidre, as lead, repping my paranormal/futuristics, and Pamela repping my historicals. The best of both worlds.
 OMG, Sylvia! Welcome to the family! Who are you with: Deidre, Pam, or Nephele?
