Sorry. I should have said something before. I’ll be chatting at 8 PM with other EC authors.

Sorry, no blog. I did write a lot today though. Not bad considering how tired I was this afternoon. And I watched Desperate Housewives. :yay: the Fall tv season has finally started!! :cheer:

Your dominant hues are red and magenta. You love doing your own thing and going on your own adventures, but there are close friends you know you just can’t leave behind. You can influence others on days when you’re patient, but most times you just want to go out, have fun, and do your own thing. Your saturation level is high – you get into life and have a strong personality. Everyone you meet will either love you or hate you – either way, your goal is to get them to change the world with you. You are very hard working and don’t have much patience for people without your initiative. Your outlook on life is very bright. You are sunny and optimistic about life and others find it very encouraging, but remember to tone it down if you sense irritation. |
I’ve been working on this chapter for five days. Argh!
I write a couple lines, go do something. Write another sentence, go do something else. It’s ridiculous.
It makes the work so much harder, because I repeat words. An hour passes, and I don’t remember I already used a particular word. I wish I could say this is an unusual circumstance, but that’s not true. I’m writing a sex scene (read: entire chapter) and since most of my character growth happens during sex, they’re always my most difficult scenes to write. My characters are not the same at the end of a sex scene as they were before it, so weaving in the GMC between bumping and grinding is very time consuming. This difficulty gets worse with every book I write, LOL, because I’m growing as a writer (I think) so I have more work to do with each successive novel.
Anyway, I’m finally wrapping up this chapter now. *sigh* :cheer:
Things left to do before I wrap up this year are:
Finish The Pleasure Bargain.
Finish my contemporary paranormal for AQP. (*gulp*, yep, another contemp. My second. I actually really like it so far.)
Finish edits to Kiss of the Night.
Then, aside from Sapphire, everything old will be gone!! I can only hope the next year brings me steady work, more contracts (*fingers crossed*), and a two-week spot for a vacation to somewhere exotic with my family.
Do you have goals for things you plan to accomplish before 2005 ends?
I’ve got a release date for Misled — Oct. 5th. It’ll be busy at Ellora’s Cave, as Shannon Stacey and Jaci and CJ Burton also have releases that day. So I’m giving you 12 days notice and begging you to set aside your daily pocket change between now and then, so hopefully you’ll have a little saved up to buy my book after you’ve bought theirs.
AND… OMG!!! The paperback cover is to die for!!!
You wanna see it?
huh?
huh?
You can check it out here.
…45 mins of my own hour-long chat.
So I rescheduled for next Wednesday. I set Yahoo to remind me, and now my blog. :cafe:
BUT… I’m deep into TPB again. So that’s good, right? :shifty:
