Sorry to hear that you're not feeling well. I'm always unreasonably disappointed when I pick up a book and it's blah. Hope you find something worth reading at BN.

Feel better my friend. I've resorted to reading old favorites. I do have the JR Ward book in my TBR pile. I'll probably give it a go this weekend. A few of my favorite authors have releases Nov. 1st, so I'll be grabbing their books. I hope they're better than what I've read lately. It's beginning to bum me out.

Yeah, I've been there done that... it takes a lot to catch my eye any more.

Some of the books I was dying for, when they came out... well, i bought... read first chapter, two chapters... and nada. They did nothing for me. I dunno why.

now one book I've been really satisfied with, even with all the hype is JR Ward's Dark Lover. There's been so much hype about this, but a lot of books with that much hype jsut fall flat.

This one rocks, though...

I thought I was the only person left in the world with Lisa K's out-of-print Onyx books! I picked them up in college and have never let them leave my hands. I love those books:drool:. Wish she'd reissue them, as mine are getting a bit ratty. Anyway, I got her newest, too, even though I didn't like the last one so well. I figure she's worth another shot!

Sorry you're sick-- feel better soon!
