At 82,250 words out of 100K, I consider myself in the home stretch of this WIP. I’ve got three weeks left to finish it off, run through it and polish it, and then send it off. :cafe:
What are you working on? And how far along do you have to be to consider yourself in the home stretch?
I feel like I’m in the home stretch of edits right now. I’m going to go through the critique suggestions, make changes and then have one final read through before mailing it off. As for writing, I think anything less than 15K is the home stretch.

Yay for you! :cheer: I’m interested in reading this one. I like the new title.
I finished a short story and have to decide whether I’m brave enough to enter the Amber Quill contest in January. I haven’t been writing long enough to know when the home stretch hits.
