So cool considering it’s not in stores yet. (BN.com’s numbers are an amalgamation of online AND brick and mortar sales.)
My numbers on Amazon.com dropped to 4K the day before yesterday.
Yes, it’s an obsession. Bear with me a little longer…
Read further at your own risk! (at least I warn you *g*)
From WNBC (NY) reporter Michelle Buonfiglio:
“SYLVIA DAY’s NEW book for Brava, “BAD BOYS AHOY!” is awesome. I’ll be telling you all, well mostly all, about it in February, when it comes out.
It’s wonderful and passionate and, oh yeah, really hot.”
And then, today I got an email directing me to a message board thread titled “what books are you looking forward to in the next few months”
reader1: [insert list]
reader2: [insert list with general reference to all society authors, of which I'm one]
reader3: [same as 2]
reader4: [insert list including "Bad Boys Ahoy by Sylvia Day"]
reader5: [same as 2]
reader6: [insert list including "Bad Boys Ahoy~Sylvia Day (After reading Laurel's comments and review, reading the excerpts, and entering the contest, I cannot wait for this one)!"]
reader7: [no list only "Honestly, that Bad Boys Ahoy sounds so good!"]
That’s ‘buzz’, right?

The Regency Romance Quiz: What kind of Romance Heroine are you?
Ah, how sweet - you are an Ingenue. You are the youngest of the heroines, sweet yet not insipid, pretty but not cloying, and just out of the schoolroom. You have been living in the country all your life, and are part of a large family. Your father is probably a curate, and you are not very well off. Despite your youth and naivety, or perhaps because of it, you are quite fearless and will not follow convention just because it is the thing to do. Instead of being properly bored at society events, you are excited just to be there. An older and jaded member of the Ton, who is cynical about women and had never intended to marry, finds you refreshing and adorable, and quickly falls under your spell. Despite all warnings, you fall in love with him in return. It transpires that his black reputation and cynical exterior hide a kind and noble, yet deeply wounded, heart, and you marry and live happily ever after. Make the most of this while it lasts, because I fear your sort of heroine is quite annoying, and rapidly falling out of favour with modern novelists. Take this quiz!

Bad Boys Ahoy! is now shipping from Amazon. So that’s it! No more wondering about the online sellers. It’ll start appearing on shelves in a couple weeks. Whoo Hoo!
Excerpts of BBA appeared in the backs of Valentine’s Day is Killing Me and Willing, both of which made BookScan. I’m hoping some of those readers liked what they read enough to pick up BBA.
The day is rapidly approaching when I won’t talk about BBA anymore. Are you getting excited about that? LOL
