I feel the same way about love scenes, Chey. I think it’s because that’s where the turning points are in the romance. So all the conflict goes on throughout the other scenes, and then during lovemaking, the shift happens. Emotions change, perceptions change. It is very soothing and satisifying, I agree!
I think she’s been leaning this way for quite some time. Personally, I’d love to write both books that are sexy and books that concentrate on action/adventure. I wouldn’t want to completely give up writing the sexy stuff, but to each their own. BTW, where’s that story that should be in my inbox?:whip:
My new agent couldn’t believe that writing sex is the easist part of the story for me to write. I just get so into the scenes. When I know I’m coming up on one it’s a break, something soothing and satisfying. It’s the rest of the story that’s a challenge to write!
"Sylvia Day is the undisputed mistress of tender, erotic romance. Her books are a luxury every woman deserves."
