Great news for those of you interested in Harlequin. At a PASIC chat this afternoon, editor Brenda Chin said (and I quote):
“a lot of the series are really hurting for books — now is a great time to get into Harlequin.”
The lines needing books most desperately are: Next, Blaze, Nocturne (very dark paranormals, she stresses. Not too hot in the sex dept.), Intrigue, Everlasting, and Supers.
For Blaze she says they’re looking for different storylines. Storylines they’ve recently purchased: futuristic time cop, heroine assassin, heroine finds the love of her life and the next day he’s in the morgue.
The guidelines say sexy for Nocturne, so now I’m wondering what not too hot means. *g* She didn’t happen to say Romance-hot or SIM-hot or Blaze-hot, did she? Probably not Spice-hot. :think:

So sounds to me like Blaze HOT is too hot, and should be sent to Blaze rather than Nocturne.
