Looks like you were blessed with one of the better east coast dawns. Usually it’s too overcast to see much of anything until the fog (literally) burns off and you’re melting into the sand :p
It did get hot very quickly, and I’m not used to that much humidity. But the evenings were wonderful and we slept with the sliding glass door open so we could hear the waves. Aside from the absolutely horrendous food, the hotel was very nice. I’d definitely stay there again.
The view from our room was beautiful. But would you believe I didn’t take any pictures? The beach was great. I agree with you, the food was terrible and my stomach hasn’t been the same in 3 days. Hopefully it will be better in Houston next year.
