Remember that big rush of first-time sales we saw at the start of the year? Now I’m seeing a huge rush of reupped contracts. In the last two weeks, I think the average has been about 2-3 renewed contracts A DAY! Is this normal right before Nationals and I never noticed before? At least half the sales have been for traditional (read: non-erotic) romances.
Congrats to all the authors in my chapters who have resigned with their exisiting publishers!! 
In other timing notes, my hubby was called into jury duty today, just a couple weeks after my stint. He was released around 11am, so he and I and our kiddies went out to lunch. It was nice to go out to lunch with him during the week. 4-5 years ago, we used to eat lunch together regularly. Now our house is 45 mins away from his work, so we don’t do that anymore.
I’m getting really excited about going to Atlanta!
