Can you believe it’s almost October? I can’t. The last thing I remember is mailing off a ms in January and thinking I was going to take a month off of work. I was unemployed, no contracts, and I was going to take a little breather. A few days later my Brava editor bought three more books. Then I sold three books to Avon, and then three to Zebra. It hasn’t slowed down since.
The last two years in a row I’ve been under deadline at Christmas, and the last two years I swore I wouldn’t do it again. This year I’m under deadline for two books. 
LOL! Funny how that works out, huh?
But I’m having fun still, so it’s all good. 
Last night I was working on a story and it just flowed. I enjoyed the act of writing so much.
My mom is coming by today. She recently retired and we’re considering moving out of state. I’d like more land, a bigger house, and my mom’s help with the kids/dinner/laundry. Hubby was against the idea in the beginning, but it’s starting to grow on him.
It always works that way. Hopefully the words will continue to flow and you will still be able to have a peaceful holiday. (Or as peaceful as you can have when you have to spend time with family)

I really hope I’m done or at least at a break during Christmas. Like you, I hate working over the holidays. I just want to drink hot chocolate and relax.
