Just got back from my local Borders store.
Interestingly, they have a new “Erotica” section. There–next to several Penthouse books–were the Ellora’s Cave titles (including ALL SHE WANTS–the Pocket Books-distributed anthology), three Samhain books (GYPSY HEART by Sasha White was one of them!), Aphrodisia titles (the original WOLF TALES, PASSION, and a couple Noelle Mack books), and Avon Red (they had SWEPT AWAY and SUGAR & SPICE).
Brava, Triskelion, Black Lace, and Cerridwen Press titles were in the romance section.

At least you found some titles. At my local Barnes and Noble, they have maybe 10% of their erotic romance shelved in the Romance section, all the other titles are in the store somewhere, but no one can ever find them!!!???

hm…I’ll have to check out our Borders on my next run there and see what they are doing with these books.

Well, I suppose booksellers who are short of time just look at the categorisation ‘thingie’ on the back of the book… and on the back of Black Laces, it now says Romance/Adult Fiction.

Obviously someone has never read Black Lace.

I JUST finished blogging about my trip to Borders today. Mine had taken all of the EC and put them in Erotica—which is a wasteland where nobody goes. Today, they had put them back, but were carrying hardly any at all now. For a while they were putting all the Samhain books in Erotica, too, even my Forever Again, which is a traditional—two kisses.
So, here, the tradeoff for getting back into Romance, where they sell, is that they’ve diminished the number of EC titles to almost nothing.
