Well, not really, but it feels that way to me. My kids have the day off school and my hubby took the day off to run errands. (however, he is presently snoring on the couch. *g*) Having everyone home makes me feel like it’s Saturday already. I’ve been listening to Harry Connick, jr. singing Christmas carols, so I feel like it’s the holidays. Or I would, if it weren’t so darn hot outside. It feels like summer.
I’m polishing up my novella for PERFECT KISSES now, so I can put it in the mail next week. I’m very nervous about it. Susan Johnson is a tough act to follow. Yikes! But I think it’s a very sweet story, so I hope readers like it.
Reviews for THE STRANGER I MARRIED are starting to trickle in. My fabulous, wonderful editor just sent me a finished copy of the book and I find myself looking at it often throughout the day. I hope I never lose that feeling of awe I get when I hold one of my books in my hands. I’ll be doing an Author-in-the-Spotlight on the Romantic Times website for it, once I wrap my mind about what to say.
I have 10K bookmarks to bundle and over 100 Christmas cards to prepare, but I’m looking forward to it! The kids like to help, bless them. I bought The Libertine last week, and hope to watch it sometime.
Oh, and I bought Dragon Magically Speaking. We’ll see how that goes once it gets here, eh?
**update**
I just found out that ASK FOR IT is presently ranked #391 on BN.com! My recent trip to BN a couple days ago to buy PLEASURE CONTROL (written by my gal pal and fellow Allure Author Cathryn Fox), showed that they’d recently restocked AFI.
