…a problem.
I have this thing where I know it’s time for me to shut down and go to bed for the night because everything I’ve written looks like crap. This is when I know I’m exhausted and my brain is telling me, “That’s enough.”
Now I’ve had this problem for about a month straight. Ugh!
Anyway, I’m busy writing. I have a trip to NY in two weeks and I haven’t done anything to get ready. No shopping or beautification. *sigh* I need to get on that. Seriously. I’m just trying so desperately to get caught up on everything before I go. If I do, I get a break until August and I need it. I haven’t had any time off for going on two years now.
I want to lay on the couch and eat bon bons and watch movies for like a week straight. Then I want to read for a week straight. Then I went to get back to the gym. I haven’t gone forever and it shows.
How are you all doing? ![]()

I’ll be at RT!
Tues - Sun. I’ll see you there and we’ll chat again.
Hugs,

ack - you won’t be at RT? YOU are one of the main reasons I signed up - lol. I had such a great chat with you on the way from the hotel to airport in Atlanta. *g*
You’ll get your groove back. Your mind and body both need R&R, so most likely you’re just recharging emotional batteries that affect both.
Best in NY!

Hi Sylvia!
Here’s hoping it goes smoother for you and you get that break! I understand the break thing - we went on vacation and for the most part I didn’t write — read, did the vacation thing. It turned out to be a great thing for my writing.
Have a good one!

Mmmm, that sounds good Sylvia. I am up until 3 and 4 o’clock in the morning some nights writing. It’s crazy and I’m soooo tired

Hi Syl
I would love to just lie around and watch movies for a week or two… I do watch them, but there’s this evil demon nagging me all the time that I should be writing, so I don’t get the full enjoyment of them. And I would love to spend lots of time reading too… to be able to sit and read a book straight through, no interruptions. But nowadays, I just read bits and pieces because I’m too tired to read after I’ve done all the other stuff I’m supposed to be doing.
I love writing, but I wish, sometimes, I could stop time and just have a total holiday for a while, then pick up again, with no deadline time, or ‘developing new ideas’ time having elapsed!
Hang in there, mate! It’ll be worth it in the long run…
Love
