I got the call this morning that BAD BOYS AHOY! is a Long Historical finalist in the Booksellers’ Best Award, and ASK FOR IT is a finalist for Best First Book!

My kids get out of school on the 15th.

Before then I hope to get a fast draft of my next book done and get caught up on my reading. Then I want to clean my desk. I have no idea how it gets so messy!

I want to take my kids to Legoland and Sea World this year. The last couple of summers we haven’t done too much. I’ve been either writing or at a conference. So this year, we’ll fix that.

I’m also dieting now. Allison Brennan, Roxanne St. Claire, Karin Tabke, and I made a pact a few months ago to do a RITA diet together. Allison and I noted in Houston that neither of us had made any progress yet. *g* I’m finally getting serious now. (procrastinate much?) Wish me luck!
