It’s been a busy week. Lots of stuff to mail, places to go, phone calls to answer, my kids to entertain (they don’t go back to school until next week), and writing, of course. And a new release, which is always fun.
Friday, the San Fransisco Area chapter of RWA is flying me up north to speak at their chapter meeting on Saturday, along with Brenda Novak and Eileen Rendahl. I’ll be gone through Monday night, so there’s some preparing and packing involved (which I have yet to start. Ugh. *g*) I’m excited to see my friends who live up there; I usually only get to see them at conferences. Odd how you can live in the same state with someone, yet have to fly across the country to have lunch together.
At some point I need to get my sleep schedule back on our school schedule — early to bed, early to rise. Right now I’m late to bed and late to rise. Have I mentioned before that I think alarm clocks are the work of the devil?
I hate them.
So that’s all the news that’s fit for me right now. One thing… I stopped watching Law & Order a couple years ago. It seemed to have lost something for me and couldn’t hold my interest. Then I watched the two-hour block last week, which they hyped in a lot of commercials. I loved it. The new attorney is a loose-cannon. So I’m back to being hooked. Off I go to watch the rest of it now…

I’m late to bed, early to rise, but that actually works for me…I don’t use an alarm clock.
I am so out of the loop since I don’t watch t.v. anymore. I know that’s weird, but I don’t even miss it.

Have fun tomorrow!

by JSL January 11th, 2008 at 4:19 pmI’ve never watched those shows, but I have to say, I like them. Why? Every time in class someone brings up one of those law type shows, I get this little kick when I see my professor hang his/her head, and say resignedly “those shows are nothing like real life.” It’s like a personal revenge for 40 page readings of supreme court cases they assign us every class :-D.
Sylvia, I cannot get on to your MySpace page. It keeps freezing up on me. You might want to check it out.
by Allison A January 12th, 2008 at 3:02 pmI love Law & Order, although I can’t stand the way they’ve constantly been changing some of the cast members lately.
