I know I’ve been super quiet lately. I’ve been hard at work on the Marked series, which has required as much–if not more–research than my historicals. I’m having fun with the stories, but they’re very time consuming to write. I’ve never taken this long with a book before.

But it’s all good! As excited as I am about the series, Tor is more so (and that’s saying a lot!) and I’m hopeful that those of you who try them will like them, too.

A new S.J. website launched today, which is more in keeping with the Orange County, CA setting and the FUN that these books are. The story has dark elements and bad things do happen (Eve’s dealing with demons, after all), but Eve is a fun character and I think the new site reflects that.
