I recently had the pleasure of reading Sylvia Day’s new book Bad Boys Ahoy! so I could interview her about the book. I was excited to realize this was a historical entry into the Bad Boys anthology series from Brava.

I don’t usually recommend books on my blog, but I thought I would recommend this one. I really enjoyed reading the book and I think a lot of people are going to like this one. Especially those who enjoyed the earlier Bad Boys anthologies but grew tired of them. This isn’t the same old thing. It’s the first historical Bad Boys anthology from Brava.

The reviewer hadn’t read all three stories when she posted the following on a message board. She’d only read “Stolen Pleasures”. I’m hoping she enjoyed the book, but I haven’t seen an official review yet. *fingers crossed*

Reviewer emailed this morning to say that BBA should come with the warning “Batteries Required”

I received an email from a reviewer who read Bad Boys Ahoy! last night. She said she “loved it” and was pleased to “have a new favorite author”.

OMG, I could cry. Really. It’s been driving me absolutely insane, knowing the book was out there with reviewers and I wasn’t hearing anything. Something. Throw me a bone. Even a simple, “Well, I didn’t want to throw it at the wall or use it as toilet paper” would be fine.

I’d thought it would get better with every release, but it doesn’t. Every book that goes out there causes the same anxieties. :shifty:

I’ll get it together eventually though. I hope.

Of course, now I’m sitting here wondering if the reviewers who aren’t saying anything just can’t find something nice to say. :baby:
