Between now and the release day of Entwined with You, I’m going to be posting two “snapshots” a week–one on Tuesday and one on Friday. Each snapshot (not to be confused with a snippet or excerpt!) will tie into a chapter in some way. So, two chapter peeks a week, from now until June 4th, which will take us through all the chapters.
Since last snappshot featured an airplane, Gideon and Eva probably took a little trip to calm down, have fun and some alone time. My guess is they go to the North Carolina place – which probably Gideon has bought by now – or to Florida Keys, which was one of his previous ideas.
I would hope the opposite, we are waiting , and waiting to see them happy, but at the same time if SD is writing a 4 and a 5th book, the 3rd book may finish not soo happy ……………..
I can’t wait for this book! It’s been way too long for it to come out. I think this chapter could be based on a vacation and maybe he proposes to her then…..it’s just my guess
Indya I hope you are right, but could you imagine how long we will have to wait for book 4 and 5, at this rate I think we wont know the end of the story before 2015!!!!!!!!!!!!! it is too long.

Ohh, they finally had the time to get back on the house by the shore..! Awww,.. With everything that’s going on, I really think they deserve some getaway. And what perfect place could it be, but this.! Kudos, Ms. Sylvia, BRAVO..! Let’s brace ourselves for the whiplash next chapter. ;-))

And as the books will have about 24 chapters just 5 are missing… But the story is no over… There will be two other books… What is Sylvia doing to us??? How will she finish the third book???

nice and relaxing time for them! we know they are going to end up together, I think there will be a lot of very pissed off readers if this story goes south, so to speak!
I’m just thinking… What if they took Gideon’s plane to escape from the police murder’s investigation, the reportes, the media and being in the public eye? Just waiting for things to chill out. Maybe they went to some South American beach. Gideon can run this business from abroad. There’s no need for him to be at his office all the time. Besides the trip will give them their so much waited time together.
This turn would let Sylvia continue the story along books #4 and #5. JMO …..

at some point there needs to be some drama. not all these chapters are gideon and eva taking off on some romantic honeymoon or gideon professing his undying love to his ex’s husband. sorry guys but i think we are the point in the book where we get the dramatic and painful twist. this single rose looks kinda lonely and heartbroken and maybe
just maybe thrown away.
Agree, their is more to their story then romance and sex 🙂 I think that they are still on down low with their relationship and working thru everything. Their is two more books their is definitely no HEA at this point . As much as i want it its still to soon unless their will be more of different obstacle heading their way !!!
If this series is adapted for TV, it may be necessary for at least five books and it better be on HBO because we cannot have Gideon & Eva without the sex. Just saying.
I have wondered if it was Corrine, but that seems too devastating a move to make against Eva. Yes, he had to separate from her, but no other female besides his mother and staff had been to his home. I like to hope his mother was there to help perpetuate the myth that he and Corrine were “back together” as Christopher mentioned to Eva.
When Eva called Gideon at his home, i think he probably was on one of his teleconference calls. I don’t believe he’d let the TROLL BITCH into his house. Eva had her black robe at her home as one night she stayed over Gideon’s & he had a real bad nightmare, & then they had an arguement, she walked out with just her robe & her purse. If he wanted to screw TROLL BITCH, he could have always gone to her apartment, that was around the corner from his. Was that planned or what. But i don’t believe he cheated or would cheat on Eva. No way, he’s crazy in love with her & just using the 2 TROLL BITCHES as cover up,s durning the whole police investagation. He had to make it look like him & Eva were over to try & cover up what he had done.
I don’t think it was Corrine at his apartment. I also don’t think that that was Eva’s robe either. Gideon would not betray Eva like that. We also know that Gideon is not sleeping with Corrine so there is no need for her to have on a robe at his apartment anyway.

making it look like Gideon was there (having sex/ cheating on Eva ) she
knows that Eva is very insecure and she already played the same card back
in the Crossfire building when she left it looking like she just had
sex and Eva believed it so she did the same thing try to make Eve
jealous.
I have read on FAQs that Crossfire IS to be a quintet (5-books), which I think is great. On the basis that each book only covers a 2 week period (BtY ?3 wks), it would be impossible to capture their story in 3 or 4 books – without a massive leap forward in time (or cutting massive of chunks of story out). Thank you Ms Day for taking the sensible route and giving Gideon and Eva their proper story in a sensible time period. I have read some negative comments about 5 books – but I would rather have the story told properly and come to a positive, natural end and if to do that means extending the story so be it. I believe Ms Day has listened, and taken on board, comments about Fifty Shades – I for one was VERY disappointed in the ending of Bk 3 – there was a massive leap forward in time (4yrs!) and whole chunks of their story missed as a result – which left me as a reader feeling cheated and very let down – and a real feeling the book had been rushed just to get it finished and on the shelves – readers don’t want to feel they have been cheated out of a proper story.
Ms Day has said she wants Gideon and Eva to get their HEA – and I think there may be an engagement in Bk 4 with a wedding/family to follow in 5 . . . .
Thank you Ms Day for not selling us, the readers – or more importantly, Eva and Gideon out!!

They bought the house in NC. Just finished rereading the series. Love them. So need more Eva & Gideon!!!

I have a question about two scenes in ‘Reflected in You’…
