Will there be a Crossfire motion picture or television series?

Lionsgate optioned the television rights to the Crossfire® Saga in 2013 and extended the option twice. After three years of development, Sylvia declined to renew the option again and the rights reverted to her.

The Crossfire Saga was re-optioned to a second studio for development as a television series, along with Butterfly in Frost, with Sylvia once again serving as executive producer. This option expired in early October 2021, after two years of development.

Update: Sylvia entered into negotiations with a third studio in mid-October 2021 and hopes to reach an agreement but Crossfire is no longer under option at this time.
